Carol Kienzle: I saw you for the first time last night at Carnegie Hall.
I was blown away by the show. It was one of the best I had ever seen and enjoyed it more than words can express.
I look forward to seeing you perform again. Maybe some totally Irish tunes. And I am in the market for whatever CD's I can find.
Thanks again for a wonderful show.
Your newest fan,
Carol Kienzle

Kathleen C.: Andy: This was our first Cruise and meeting you!! We weren't sure of what to expect, but let me tell you, we had a WONDERFUL Time. Yes, the language was different, but if you travel overseas that's the norm. We just needed to be patient to hear our own language. And we were. One of the many highlites was Ronan Tynan and all of us Singing "God Bless America" I heard some of the other guests talking about "how proud we were of Our Country - they definately heard us singing - Thanks Ronan!!!! Don't think we'll make 09's Cruise - will need to save up for 2010 - so keep on planning!! And we'll bring more people with us!! I know this input is late, just now getting a chance to check out your Website. As Irish Pub Owners - we had to prep for St. Patrick's Day - and now we're glad it's over. All the Best to You and Yours,
Mrs. C.

Andy Cooney: Dear Tom,
I'm sorry to hear you were disappointed with the Cruise of Irish Stars this year. Your words are very strong. Outside of a couple of rock medleys at Poolside, my concerts were totally of Irish Music content. I am not looking to break into country music. I have always been known as a performer that is versatile and can cater to everyone. Even when we were on Commodore Cruise Lines I performed in the same manner. I cannot speak for the other performers, but I know that Willie Lynch did a nice mix of music and included a lot of Irish music. Jimmy McPhail was totally Irish. Even Pat and Fran Marnane did a nice mix of music, but always came back to their Irish music repertoire. I have to tell you, you are the only one that has complained to me about the music. I had compliments from people that it was the best music package I had ever put together.
As far as Costa Cruise lines I have to respectfully disagree with you. They are wonderful to work with. I have cruised on many ships and Costa has always been the most cooperative. As far as receiving extra stars, I was not aware of this. This is the first I am hearing of this. I'm sure that Maureen took care of it as soon as she was made aware of it. Every evening there were many people trying to get in to the Osiris Theatre and the Isolabella Lounge (two of our private rooms) that were not in our group that were turned away by our security. I was only aware of two incidents of a passenger getting into the room and they were rectified.
It's not easy putting these big trips together and I know you will never please everyone. I can only do the best job I can which is to try to please everyone. I am happy and proud of each and every one of my performers and all at Cruise Specialists that gave 100% of themselves to my Cruise.
I hope you reconsider cruising with me again. We are changing to MSC Cruise lines for 2009. Thank you for expressing your feelings with me and I will be more conscious of what you have shared. Take care and God Bless...
Andy Cooney

Alison: To Thomas - I read your email about the cruise of Irish stars - what ship were you on? I had a most wonderful time and am looking forward to next year. I have been on numerous Andy Cooney cruises and this was by far the best, especially the entertainment. As for being closed out of a performance, I find that hard to believe as my friends and I sometimes arrived late and were never closed out. We were exhausted by the end of the week because of the good times we had. So to all future Andy Cooney Cruisers, hope to see you on the next one!!

We were on one of the original cruises on Commodore Cruise line (now unfortunately deceased) and it was enjoyable; great entertainers particularly Pat Marnane)
The cruises have degenerated and become a rock concert. I realise you are interested in breaking into country music but the Irish theme has seriously degenerated.
Costa line sucks; can't understand announcements, very poor communications from ship's info staff. They need someone like Mussolini who made the trains run on time
Sorry we wont be with your any more. After paying a high price to be members of the Irish entertainemant' we found ourselves closed out of many venues because the non paying regular ship's passengers were allowed into toe supposedlu closed performances. We discovered that the ship's staff (contrary to Maureen Shank's statements) were issuing the special gold stars on the Costa cruise cards . We were able to receive 4 extra stars which we did not sell to other non-members but was this done by others or the staff. Never got a denial that this was not happening. I have the extra gold stars toprove this assertion

Patricia LeBlanc: Dear Mr. Cooney,
I just returned home from your recent cruise. I must tell you that we have many of your cd's. However we never met you in person until now. Your truley are a wonderful person as well as your band and your beautiful wife. You touch the hearts of so many elders. They all appear to be 10 years younger after listening to you. You truley have a place in heaven. Thank you for everything you've done for everyone.
