Amanda Cannon: Well you'll never guess. I was looking for a website on my friends baby here in Hawaii, I see your website and thought hmmmm, my friend Amanda used to be a Van Doren and then I saw Michaela's name and thought, no way!! So, all the way in Hawaii I got to look at some really neat pictures of the family. This was great. And you have some really nice pictures. I was so excited when I saw that it was the right family!

Our pond is covered with algae :( I read copper sulfate is the answer, but only kill half at a time to avoid fish kill.

Lee Van Doren: Wow! Sorry I missed the party! Owen would have contributed his part to trying to wreck the place! He's out visiting his Seattle grandparents, aunt and uncle, and cousins right now. Everyone looks great! Hopefully we will be able to make our rounds again sometime in the future! Washington/Dallas airfares are cheap, unfortunately time is not :(
