As we flowed with the crowd toward the monorail doors at the end of the day I was jarred out of the flow when the cast member coordinating entry onto the Monorail put his hand out right in front of us and declared entry to the Monorail paused. I must have registered quite a shocked expression (because I'm so accustomed to having perfect timing) that the kind began some good-natured teasing about my 'sad' face and, after some more chit-chat, invited the kids to go up to the front of the line to ride in the front car of the Monorail with the conductor. That's Scott, a Monorail trainer, who was working a 14-hour shift.
