Album: My Polymer Clay Wearable Art

I graduated with a degree in graphic design in 1985. A decade later I discovered polymer clay in an instructional book written for children. The material and its endless potential fascinated me. Over time my work developed to combine my fascination with color and surface design with my graphic designer's sense of composition, contrast and scale.

My polymer clay wearable art is individually hand crafted so no two pieces are exactly alike. They range from vibrant rainbow colors to black and white pearl to earth tones. Rainforest beads

I created these beads to enter in "Bead & Button" magazine's "Bead Dreams 2003" juried exhibit. They received first place in the polymer clay category. The beads are also published in Lark Books' "400 Polymer Clay Creations" book, "Bead & Button" October 2003 magazine issue, and "Bead Dreams 2003" magazine produced by Bead & Button.
