Experiments with a laser printer, decals and fusing
I used a newspaper picture of me at school (I'm the one holding the camera!). Edited it with photoshop and laser printed it onto decal paper. I applied it to opaque glass ad left it to dry overnight.The other photos are after firing to 1200oF, cooling in the kiln and a close up of the sepia toned image on the glass.
I then capped one with clear (fibroid) glass and fired to full fusing. The other I scrubbed half to see how much the image had been absorbed by the glass. It did fade a little as demonstrated by the photo. Further experiments to follow.......
