Album: Kente Center Rag Doll Workshop

The Kente Center of New London Connecticut held a series of Mother and Daughter workshop. This is the second workshop I did, Rag dolls.

These dolls are made by using one piece of fabric and string. This workshop required sewing. After the dolls were made, we went on to the dress and hair. For many of the younger participants this was their first time using needle and thread. BEAUTIFUL, KENTE! The Dolls will be on exhibit at a local gallery through the month of June.
