Crazy patchwork was popular in Victorian times as a way of using even the tiniest scraps of fabric. Pieced together in a haphazard way to make fit, various fancy stitches would then be applied over the overlapping edges. Sometimes lace, buttons, charms, beads & even fancy buckles would also be added....... and now for the miniature collector.....
