Some of my whites carry the silver gene, they hatch out a grey color and feather out pure white.
We purchased our first 6 Silkies in 2001 and have expanded since with 60 Adults that we refer to as Fancy Lawn Ornaments. Our Silkies free range during the Spring, Summer and Fall months and we find ourselves sitting in the chilly coops hugging them during Winter. We have worked hard on our Silkies and only buy from well known breeders. We breed in keeping with the standard and are happy to share our progress with you.
