Nancy, 1974

Believe it or not, I was the riding counselor at camp the year I was 12! The riding program was, to put it mildly, a little casual. This is Nancy, a paint mare who put up with the camp kids with a wonderful attitude. Rosie, Surprise, and Brandy rounded out the crew. I spent most of my time that summer cleaning tack, grooming the horses, and dreaming in the barn.
