Amateur star-gazers were taken on a tour of the universe last night by the Boothe Memorial Astrononimcal society, which set up two long-range telescopes on the Memorial grounds in Putney, Stratford. The society will set up their 'scopes once a month so that persons interested in astronomy will be able to follow the changing skies. Phil Stern (behind light telescope), honorary chariman of the society, directs Mrs.Robert Foster of Fairfield in the use of the scope, while Andrew Kaza of Stratford gazes through the other instrument.
