I call this watercolor "Sherbert" (although the actual name of the rose is "Jacob's Coat"), because as the blooms open fully they change from the vibrant new bloom color to a softer "sherbert" affect. The yellow blossoms turn spectatular pink tones and the pink buds take on yellow tones. It is really fascinating to see this rose climber with the different color roses on the same plant. watercolor on 140# cp paper, approx 12x16"
