display at KASF 2006

This is part of my display for KASF 2006. Here you see my lampworked core vessels, and a kiln-fired small bowl. The core vessels are Egyptian/Mediterranean, about 15th c BC. The bowl is 10th c AD and is Islamic, after similar "basket bowls" found on the Serce Limani shipwreck. The Serce Limani wreck is known as the "glass wreck" because of the significant amount and type of glass found with the wreck.
