This valance was done by Claire Hallman so I am not sure how she did hers, but we cut the swags one at a time. Always using the first swag as your pattern so the design won't get off. Cut the horns on the fabric right next to where the swag was cut. Match the notches, the design will be continuous.

I love the horizontal stripes. I've done the Claudine valance with vertical stripes and would like to try it with horizontal stripes. Any hints on how to make those stripes match up so nicely going across the valance? Thanks, Stephanie P
