Album: Vision Gourds - The Underworld Series

Gourds are my canvasses; pyrography is my primary "painting" medium. I use Razertip woodburning tools, watercolor, oil pencils and colored pencils to bring out what I see in the gourds' natural markings.

The Underworld is my imaginary kingdom where all living creatures get along just fine. Since the gourd markings help me find these characters, they rarely turn out to be quite like any of the known world's familiar species. (Eventually, each gourd will have its own album for showing multiple views.)
