Album: Our Newest Rescue Horse!

This is the newest foster horse we will be receiving as of 15 November. Presently he does not have a name --- but you may be interested in this poor boy's history!

In early August of 2004 our county sheriff's department was called in to investigate the neglect and cruelty of 6 horses. of that 6, 1 had to be put down. My vet was called in to take the other five. Two of the horses were walking skeleton's -- and our newest boy was one of those skeleton's. He is three years old and is still a stallion; he stands 15.1 hands! He will be a gelding in short order. his temperment is phenomenal and he is sweet as all get out. our vet asked if we would be willing to foster this sweetheart until the county's case is settled. It is unlikely that he will be returned. If he is released for adoption, I think he will remain with us -- WE LOVE HIM!
