Ariadne's One Thread Cardigan

from the Summer 06 Spin Off magazine, this sweater was a challenge and a joy to knit. There is one thread from start to finish (okay, i spliced) and the only finishing was weaving in the start and finishing ends. Even the buttons were knit into position. Totally seamless, utterly gorgeous, can't say enough wonderful things about this pattern. The yarn is 50/50 yak/merino from School Products in NYC.
