The exhaust from the crane had to be piped outside the bubble because everyone was getting sick. Here I am to the right of the crane headed for where we just landed a big load of number 11 rebar that was 60 ft. long. Two or three of us carried one bar which weighed over 325 pounds. Needless to say, people winced when we shook hands... and I was EXTREMELY careful to be gentle! I quickly learned NOT to get in the middle of those LONG rebars!! Raw shoulders anyone...?
