Old Shale Socks

Marguerite on the socknitters list posted this free pattern on her blog at http://stitchesofviolet.blogspot.com/ What a great way to use up two partial balls of yarn. The cuff is a mix of cotton/wool/nylon and the dark main color is a mystery sock yarn from my past. I modified the pattern and used a garter stitch short-row heel and garter stitch wedge toe. These turned out great and thanks to Marguerite for writing up the instructions!
