Album: Gig Harbor Quilt Festival Quilt, June 2004

Many longarm quilters were asked to volunteer to quilt a bed size quilt for the Gig Harbor Quilt Festival (www.gigharborquiltfestival.com). These quilts are to be auctioned off and all proceeds are given to local charites that support breast cancer reseach and rehabilition.

This is the quilt that was given to me to quilt. It measures 120 x 124 inches. It really stumped me at first what to quilt on it but the more I looked at it the more I saw Feathers. And that's what I did. If it wasn't moving, I put feathers on it!
