Album: Wildlife Photography by Earl West Jr.

Welcome to my Albums, I've been doing Wildlife Photography as a hobby for a few years now. These are a few of my favorite shots. I hope you enjoy them. All pictures are copywrited to Earl West Jr. and all rights are reserved. Thank you

"The animals are our brothers, What is man without the beast? Even the earthworm keeps the ground soft for man to walk upon. If all the beasts were gone, men would die from great loneliness. For whatever happens to the beasts, happens to man. For we are all of one breath." Chief Seathl 1854

Black Bear Mother

This Black Black Bear Mother and her two cubs honored me by spending the day in the vicinity of my camp site. She never showed any agression towards me at all, this was late Sept and her thoughts were on eating acorns and berries. I found her and her cubs sleeping in a tree about 30 yards away from my camp when I came out of my tent in the morning. They spent most of the day right in the area foraging. I'll be adding new pictures from this weekend as soon as I can get the time to scan them. Blue ridge mountains near Matthews Arm, Skyline Drive, Shenandoah National Park, Virginia
