Album: Jan has a wide array of experience in photography and publishing

My publishing days began with the high school newspaper and annual, leading to taking journalism at these colleges: University of North Dakota - Grand Forks, ND; University of Nebraska - Lincoln, NE; San Jose State University - San Jose, CA; and a special Photojournalism course at Brooks Photography Institute - Santa Barbara, CA.

Started my own newspaper in 1968 (The Clean Green Thumb), another in 1973 (Green Power), and laid out 12 to 36 page weekly and monthly newspapers in ND, MO, CA, HI and NC, and from 1999-2002 a quarterly print magazine from 36 to 100 pages, and a monthly 8 page newspaper in North Carolina.... plus a monthly 30-36 page online PDF magazine for The P3 Group. PLUS a WIDE variety of photography and photojournalism articles for newspapers and magazines around the world... especially for jazz and blues publications and local magazines and newspapers.
