Album: Sable's Pictures

These are pictures of Sable, a mare I bought in Florida back in 1997 as a yearling. She is a domestic bred mare.

In 2003 Sable went to live with my mom near Rochester, NY. In 2000, my mom decided she had had enough of just riding by proxy (re: watching me!) so she began to take lesson in dressage with a wonderful coach. By 2003 she was ready for her first horse. Instead of buying her one, I gladly gave her Sable, who had just turned 7 years old. It took a year of "bonding" but they are now a formidable team! This year, at age 64, my mom has begun showing. In 2005 Sable and Mom will hit the Arab Show Circuit. GO MOM!
