1988 - Paul Masson Winery, San Jose, CA A L O N G white stretch limo pulled alongside my friend Bruni (www.brunijazzart.com) and me as we walked up the road discussing the WONDERFUL concert that night. Slowly the window rolled down, revealing Miles Davis on the back seat. He asked to see Bruni's sketch book and shocked her practically speechless by asking for her pencil so he could sign the one he liked best... then he turned to me and said "with THAT lens (300 mm) I KNOW you got some good photos tonight!" (this and other photos in this album is the proof...!). Apparently he was watching US that night too... while we enjoyed his music!
