James A. Robert Elliott

Kansas City, MO Elliott was the "American Field" Champion Live Bird Shot of American 1894-1896, the Kansas City "Star" Live Bird Champion, and winner of the Du Pont Trophy (99/100 pigeons defeating C.W. Budd) in 1897. Elliott then defeated Fred Gilbert for the Du Pont trophy at Chicago Dec. 1897. August 1904 at the Grand Canadian Handicap he was High Professional Average with 551 out of 600 targets. He had the longest straight run at the New York State Tournament with 116 straight and won in Atlantic City 161/170. He won High Professional Average at the 1906 GAH.
