Album: Jalama Beach, California

We've arrived at our favorite Pacific Coast location! Jalama Beach is a Santa Barbara County park just south of Lompoc, CA. It takes an hour to get to town because you have to travel 14 miles on Jalama Road which is twisting, curvy and crosses a couple mountain ranges. By the way, Jalama Road's ONLY destination is Jalama Beach! It's a beautiful piece of unspoiled paradise originally introduced to us by our traveling companions, Jim & Susan, in 2004. It was two days out of our routed itinerary this year but I implored Ken to make the trip. You'll see he is happy to be here, too!

We spent a tranquil, idyllic, mesmerizing week at Jalama. Let it be noted, for the record, we had an incredible experience just 'being here' and being grateful to be alive!!
