Robert Sargent's Road Crew circa 1910

This is purported to be Robert Sargent's road crew circa 1910. Bob was sometimes foreman of the State road crew. Herbert E. Sargent, Bob's nephew, remembers one particularly rough patch of road that some of the local townspeople used to call "Bob's Rips".
