Watsonville, CA freezer - mid 1980's

It was minus eleven degrees with a wind chill factor inside this 1,300,000 cu. ft. freezer in Watsonville, CA the last 3 months we worked inside there. Birdseye was loading flash-frozen fruits & veggies into rail cars outside the building, which was near the ocean. We could watch whales when we went outside to warm up... or during lunch.
