New Works for Sale

Sculpting in clay has always been a big part of my work but fabric is where I live. Texture, color and hand (the way fabric feels in your hand) continues to play a role in all that I create. Many of the fabrics I use are from Mali, Ghana, India. They are hand-dyed, batiks and stamped.

Using African masks as inspiration, I've created a series of small figures,"poupes" with hand sculpted masks of bisqued-fired terracotta, stonewear or polymer clays. They are richly embellished with beads, fibers and charms. CONTACT ME beezartdolls@comcast.net
