Natural Bulrush Seat Weaving Steps

Here are a series of pictures that demonstrate the various steps necessary to weave a chair seat using natural bulrush. The weaving is done through a series of twisting several strands of rush together to make a rope-like strand and weaving around the seat rungs from outer edge to center. It's a tedious procedure and takes several days to complete if done correctly.

The only step not shown well was the addition of cardboard triangles for the top side of the seat. And the bulrush butt ends used for stuffing under the cardboard and on the bottom side of seat.
