Black Vinyl Chain Link with Red PDS Slats

This picture shows an ongoing process of red slats being installed into a black chain link fence with galvanized frame(background).

The slats used here are PDS, bottom locking slats. Basically what that means is that these slats slide into the fence diamonds, vertically, and lock into horizontal locking strips. This locking strip slides into diamonds one/half diamond up from the bottom of the fabric. The bottom locking system is the most commonly used style of slats. While not difficult, it is a bit time consuming.
