Deck Gate

Just one of many design possibilities for a gate installed on a deck. This one is constructed of the standard 2" x 4" frame. The exterior of the gate (as you see here in the picture) has 1" x 4" boards placed on the 2" x 4" frame, 2" x 2" boards are used for pickets. On top, a pair of 2" x 2" with ends cut at an angle, making for a simple, decorative touch.
