Split Rail: 2 – rail, welded wire

Here is a closer look at the previously pictured fence. You can more easily see the welded wire which is installed to the inside of the fence. The welded wire is attached to the posts and rails with galvanized "U" nails. You can also see that the bottom rail of the fence sits lower to the ground than most split rail fences. This greatly improves the containment properties of the welded wire fence offering more support for the wire.
