For lack of generic terminology for this type of picket cut and the fact that many years back there was a company once worked for that named their sections after presidents names, we decided to call this one The Nixon. The picket cut is basically a cross between a Dog-eared picket and a Sawtooth picket. The angle of the cut is 60 degrees. This picture shows the first installation of this picket, a 1" x 4" picket which was made to match a very old pre-fabricated section in Historic Oakwood.
