Dog-eared

The 6' version of the standard 4' high dog-eared spaced picket. At this height the 1" x 6" picket is most commonly used. The main reason for this is that the 1” x 6” provides a much more balanced look than a 1" x 4" though it doesn't hurt that more times than not it is also more cost efficient. Here too, we use (3) - 2" x 4" backrails. The spacing between pickets is 2".
