Bedford Style Privacy Fence

Named after the subdivision where we first installed this style of fence, it is slowly but surely becoming a very popular style.

This fence is a standard privacy fence with the framing constructed to accept a topper. The topper is constructed of 2" x 2" uprights spaced 3" apart with a 1" x 3/4" holding strip on each side. This holding placed at the top and bottom of the 2" x 2" uprights eliminate turning. The posts are 6" x 6" with a 2" x duel-tiered, angle cut tops which were originally designed for this section but in their own right are becoming popular additions to other fence styles.

This style of fence, while pictured here as a privacy fence, can also be done as a spaced picket or shadowbox style fence. The topper can also be made larger or smaller and 2” x 2” patterns can be varied.
