Album: Venezuela 2007-2008

2007 - A year of contrasts! Spring - returning from Curacao, we traveled along the VZ coast from Chichiriviche to Puerto La Cruz in June. Mileage was 380 nautical miles over 3 weeks with much of the interval spent waiting for winds to abate so we could travel.

Fall we put the boat up for sale at Marina Bahìa Redonda. In between we had the stormiest season yet in coastal Venezuela waters due to a double full moon eclipse this year (supposedly). The near loss of our boat on the shore at Guacarapo was the low point - see photo of bedraggled skipper.
