Album: Jill's 1966 Mustang

Bought it here locally in the Hazel Dell area for $575 and drove it home....barely. It's got a 250 I6 and toploader 4 speed trans. The car has some minor rust issure but is at least 98% complete and mostly un-molested. It does need a ton of work, more or less a complete ground-up restoration. It's Jills car and she's gotta decide on the colors and other specifics before I start too far into it. So far this car is on teh back, back, back burner... lol

Only things that have been done to it so far is I changed out the light duty rear axle for one from a '71 Comet GT which ended up being 1" narrower than the stock axle but still bolted up. The front suspension (drum brakes) from the 71 Comet were also installed, but just temporarily until I put disc brakes on it. But at least now, it's 5 lug all the way around. I also have a C4 auto tranny on standby to replace the toploader which will see duty behind a V8 in another car.

A more recent pic of the '66. Haven't really done anything at all to it. A back, back, back, burner project.
