2006 Prime Warden of the Worshipful Company of Bas
From the BA Website: On the 20th October 2006 Mrs Olivia Elton Barratt was installed as the first ever Lady Prime Warden of the Worshipful Company of Basketmakers, in the 437 years history of the Company. There are six Livery Companies of the City of London who give the title of Prime Warden to their Master, so to the best of our knowledge Olivia Elton Barratt could well be the first ever Lady Prime Warden amongst those six Companies to hold such an office. Not only is Olivia a practicing basketmaker but holds the office of President of the BasketmakersÂ’ Association, thus solidifying links between the Company and the Association.
