Album: My Nostalgia -Days Gone Bye

Man, how I wish I had kept these cars (worth a fortune now)! Would "young and stupid" be a good excuse? This was my first car..paid $325.00 hard earned cash in 1965. Only Stude' gasser around and was a real attention getter. Hood was chopped and was a lift-off held on by wingnuts. Bucket seats up front with no back seat. See other cars I owned. My favorites were the 55 Chevy's. Spent Saturday evenings at the drag strip earning enough from challenge races to pay for gas and food for date nights. Chevy's were real screamers, most having 327 4-speeds that I installed and were protested often. Have no pictures of the '57 Chevy's...one was a 2-door HT with 348 tri-power and the other a stock 2-door 283 column shift. Currently working on a 55 210 Old School Street Gasser (see other album).
