How do we control flys?

There are countless products on the market for fly control.
I try very hard to keep the areas in and around my pens clean.
I also sprinkle DE under my bunny cages and in the drop pans.
I also put up a new hanging twist fly trap in every pen once a week.
I DID NOT LIKE THE TRAP & TOSS TRAP YOU SEE!
I paid about $6 for it, you empty a tube of consintrated STINKY stuff and add some water then hang it.
It Stunk way to much with in days I had tons more flies than ever, some flys did get traped and die but many many more were flying around my coop.
FINALLY I had enough of the stink and the flys. I tossed the trap and put up three spiril fly strips.
The next day I noticed they were full and now I have very few flys.
I will take them down and put up a couple new strips as needed.
