My Mother, Rubye McVay, also worked at the Shamrock in the 1950's. In 1943 I lived behind the location behind Edgar Presley's Store at the "Y." David "Mutt" Hale was our neighbor.

My aunt, Virgie Kellem, worked here for many years. Her son Jerry did too. It was a very popular place to eat and the food was always good.
