I bought the Aurdrey stamp and it looks awful. Do I have to use a particular ink brand or a particular type of paper?

Hi Michi, it's Elena in Key Largo, Florida. I am having a VERY bad time wiht the stamps from Stamp Smith. Is there a trick to these stamps? Should I be using a particular type of ink or paper? I have tried with regular white paper, photo paper, have tried 4 different inks - nothing. Horrible.
