Shetland Tea Shawl

Pattern from A Gathering of Lace by Meg Swanson. Yarn is Morehouse Merino, which is almost a fingering weight vice a laceweight. It has not kept its blocking and tends to shrink back to its origins. I would probably not use it again for a shawl that I want to keep a nice open pattern. I would recommend a fingering weight more like Frog Tree Alpaca that opens up and keeps its blocking.
