Small dress from Vietnam

Really love this, but it never fit. Labeled XL, but it's like an American small. Has a flaw- at the collar, it's marked by the seamstress where the closure would go, but the closure is elsewhere & the mark remains. Never washed. Don't know if it would come out. Perhaps a brooch could cover it?
