Album: Isla Coche

the western facing beach at Isla Coche with the prevailing easterly trade winds is perfect for windsurfing and kite boarding. German tourists seem to flock here for beach vacations as well.

We stopped briefly at Isla Coche several times on our way to and from Porlamar, promising ourselves to spend more time here. Finally, in February 2006 we did. Long walks on the beach, swimming, visits to little San Pedro and the friendly residents there.... it was a terrific "vacation" for us!
