Album: Travels of S/V Salacia - 2006 ("and now for something completely different")

Once again, New Years at the Rio Cariaco... what bliss! Our friends on Jabulani, Richard & Diane, joined us there - there boat is in the sunset photo. My back recovery was the priority for early 2006. It's doing well... ojala!

We got several boat projects done that were pending, some from 2 years ago. Porlamar yielded a new dinghy cover and then we rested up at Isla Coche. Stopping at Mochima National Park for a visit, we then returned to Guacarapo for more boat work and then to Navimca boatyard in June for a haulout... ugly ordeal, but they almost always are. Our reward will be a trip to la Gran Sabana.
