Durango Colorado Stagecoach Ride

We spent two days in Durango. The first day we took the Durango Silverton Railroad which was an all day train ride and a hoot. We saw miles of countryside between Durango and Silverton. The second day we went to Trimble Hot Springs and soaked. Trimble has a big pool everyone, and lots of little hot pools, that get hotter or cooler, depending on your preference. That afternoon, we went to nearby Mancos Colorado for an old-fashioned western Stagecoach Ride with the Bartel’s Mancos Valley Stageline. Apparently, this is the only thing of its kind in the country (where they rig up 4 horses to a big old stagecoach and take you out on the trail for a ride) and my whole family was extremely impressed. We took the “dinner cruise” which included a pretty awesome dinner, at a lodge that is great for the whole family. I definitely recommend you try the stagecoach. – http://www.thestagecoach.com
