Jewels in the Countryside

Selected for the 2004, 46th Essex Open Arts Exhibition. This piece comprises of a gold leaf background, with torn map pages laid over. Jewels consisting of gold beads and pearls are to be found hidden amongst the pages. Roads have been stitched in place.
