Album: Pencil Portraits by Tracy

My name is Tracy Bortz, I am a self-taught artist and I would like to share with everyone my love of portrait drawing. I have been drawing portraits for a very long time, but I never tire of it because every portrait brings it's own sense of excitement. The greatest reward for me is the look on the clients face after I've taken the photo they gave me and turned it into something they can cherish forever. Pencil is a very satisfying medium to work in, because I can incorporate a great deal of shading to give each portrait it's own sense of dimension. Because of the convenience, all the portraits are done from photographs and will be returned upon completion of the drawing.
