Sandhill Cranes

One of the most memorable parts of the trip, was the evening at Outlook, where thousands upon thousands of Sandhill Cranes flew overhead in continuous flocks. The Cranes settled onto sandbars in the river below our vantage point. It seemed unbelievable that natural spectacles such as this , still occur in our time.
